The Ruben Lee Dalton Band brings the studio sounds of Ruben Lee Dalton’s records to the clubs and stages of the central coast. Comprising of these 6 core members, the band can also be as large as 9 members on stage. The core band comprises of Ruben Lee Dalton on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Grey Bear Erickson on lead guitar and backup vocals, Martin Young on lead guitar and backup vocals, Josh Jenkins on mandolin & fiddle, Graham Palmer on Bass, and Austin Beede on Drums.
The band is known for a full rocking sound with a strong groove and soaring harmonies on top of the mix. With three members of the band also being professional sound engineers, you can expect a cohesive look and world class sound. The band has an incredible PA they can provide at events, or are happy to jump on stage anywhere they can fit. Everyone in the band resides on the central coast and are known throughout the community as a wonderful group to see live. The band plays 90% original music with some choice covers thrown in.
The Ruben LEE DALTON TRIO & QUARTET
When you are needing a more acoustic side of Ruben Lee Dalton’s band, we have the Trio or Quartet for smaller more intimate shows or events. They play an Americana, folk sound and let the three part vocal harmonies come front and center. Martin Young and Grey Bear Erickson’s guitar work is sure to inspire, and when Josh Jenkins can join them on fiddle and mondolin, it really brings the sound down home. The trio still plays 90% original music with some choice covers thrown in.

Having Ruben Lee Dalton show up solo is always a special event. When the full band is too big or the venue requires a different vibe, Ruben Lee Dalton solo is a great way to get original music and poetry, right in front of you. Ruben can do up to a three hour show, taking you on a journey of humor, sadness, joy and mystery. These are all topics you can enjoy when Ruben is on the mic. Ruben just needs 20amps of power on site and brings everything else for a great show.
