The Ruben Lee Dalton Band is going to be rockin it at the Los Olivas Country Days Saturday, October 21st, 11:30 to 2:45, with our Southern California Rock blend of original music and cover songs. Come out and partake of this "Small Town With A Big Valley Heart's" celebration of country living with great food, wine, and, of course, music! Come up and say howdy, we'd love to see you there!
The Ruben Lee Dalton Band is so pleased to announce our gigging at this new venue for us. This place is beautiful, the art, the food, the vibe! The stage is so cool, hanging above the bar. This is one you've got to see. We'll be "bringing it" Friday night, 9:30 to 12:30, so take a nap if you have to and come on out to this very cool club...and oh, bring your dancing shoes and your tail feathers!...we'll be rockin' it as usual!
The Ruben Lee DaltonBand is coming back to SOHO for a CD2 release party! Turquoise And Silver has taken us two years of intense creative effort and ready to be released into the Universe. We are going to make this a special event with all our auxiliary band members joining us on the stage. Our sound will be at it's biggest and best. The doors will open at 7:00pm. This is a dinner show so get there early, have a drink or two, dinner, and say hello to the band and relax. We promise you a great evening of more Ruben Lee Dalton original music. Copies of our new CD will be given to all who attend, so come on out Thursday, October 12th and sing, dance and groove with us. See you there!
All right, Its time for a torn down acoustic evening with the RLD band. The harmonies will be soaring and the tunes sounding new. I believe they want us on at 5pm. Keep looking here for any changes!
Can't wait to see you there!
It has been almost exactly a year since we last played Standing Sun, and we are so looking forward to returning with our new CD, Turquoise & Silver. The new CD is a bit of a departure from our last with more focus on "groove", although not without our trademark "rock" and "folkrock ballad" songs. Please come on out and check out our new songs, all written and produced by Ruben Lee Dalton and Bear Erickson at the Erickson Sound Lab in Buellton. Dinner and great wine is available, come have a glass with us!
First things first. Fig Mountains now have different times for all locations on when music starts.
When we play in Santa Barbara it will always be 8-11pm. Later start time now! Its going to be fun to rock the night away like this.
We havent played SB in a while. Come on out!! New songs, new grooves.
On November 11th we are launching the RLD Barn/theater, headquarters for the band, as an official venue for music. You're going to love this venue, somewhat reminiscent of Cold Spring Tavern, only a little roomier. The band will be playing many of our new songs on the barn stage from 7 to ?, plus many of our first CD favorites. Cal Taco will be there if you choose to purchase dinner and eat with us, as will a bar (specifics for the bar yet to be determined). We are asking for $10 at the door to cover some of the expenses. We suggest you arrive buy 5:30 for parking and dinner. The sun sets at 4:58, and we are in the country, i.e. no street lights. There is plenty of parking and we will direct you as to where...we suggest bringing a flashlight if possible.
If you are planning on joining us for this inaugural event for our Barn/Theater please RSVP via firstname.lastname@example.org email address. The band is so looking forward this event and introducing you to our new songs and this incredible venue!
(The directions to the Barn are misleading: once you make the turn off of Jonata Road through the gates and on to Bobcat Springs Road, continue straight for 1.9 miles, look for signs a long the way, and amber lights at the entrance to the driveway. GPS and the Google Map are not quite that correct.)
We have been looking forward to playing Molly's for months. This venue is perfect for the RLD band's music. Molly is one of the few venues that only books bands that play "original music". So here we go, our 1st voyage into LA with a trunk full of our newest and/or favorite songs. Come on out Wednesday night, 7:00 (and don't be late) and hear the set we have put togther for you...have a brew with us, and maybe even dance a gig or two.
This is our 2nd year playing the summer concert series out at Presqu'ile Winery! The venue and sound couldn't be more divineThis is the central Coast at its best. Come on out, make the drive and have a very memorable night with the Ruben Lee Dalton Band! We are the opening band and look forward to rocking during Sunset! Tickets are available here.
We are playing on the Marshall's patio on State Street! It's the first night of Fiesta!!
This show is going to be a blast! This band has been busking State Street for years...Its time to rock out on the sidewalk. We are bringing our PA and will be singing and strumming our hearts out!
We go on at 5pm-8pm! FREE show!
This is going to be our 3rd year playing Music on the Green! We are so stoked! It is our guitarist Bears Dad's birthday as well! Come on out to a wonderful free show and community hang session. The food is divine and the band will be in full effect. Lets make year 3 and groovin time!
This is a one of a kind event for the summer! Come enjoy a show at the studio where the Ruben Lee Dalton Band makes their records! This show is outside in the parking lot. This venue is at the emerging BUHO Theater! (the sonic brainchild and fun zone of Bear Erickson )
We are very happy to be playing Earth Day SYV style..... The event has around 100 vendors this year including goats and tiny homes on display! This is a double gig day for us. So if you want to see the first show....come to Riverview Park in Buellton around 2pm to catch us!
So we're excited to be moving the band a bit up the coast to one of the newest Fig Mountain Brewery locations. It's a beautiful venue with a great stage! We can't wait to check out the Arroyo Grande scene, check out the local surf and to make some more mid state fans. Come on out and have a beer and rock with us!
This gig holds a special place for us. Most of us grew up here in Santa Ynez. This show directly benefits the Santa Ynez High School Music Department. Thousands of dollars were raised last year and we are so excited to be headlining the rock night.
Please come early to catch the other bands as well! We should be on stage sometime around 8pm.
